David has wide-ranging expertise and knowledge in diversity management. He has conducted research on the issue of diversity and inclusion in the Irish and broader contexts and has worked, lectured and facilitated in some of the world’s leading organizations on diversity and inclusion. He is a member of and a former board member of SIETAR Europa (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research).

David is the author of Policing Pluralism (in Cultivating Pluralism, Oak Tree Press, 2000). He is a Licensed Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is trained in the use of Appreciative Enquiry as a research methodology in managing differences. David is also a fellow of the IMCA (Institute of Management Consultants and Advisors in Ireland) and is a certified coach. As a former member of the Irish Police service, David was responsible for the establishment of the Garda Racial, Intercultural and Diversity office. He is a co-author of Cultural Detective Ireland and is the cultural correspondent for the Argonaut Culture Connector profiler.
