Gary Alveranga is a Senior Consultant and Master Facilitator at The Kaleidoscope Group, a full-service diversity and inclusion consulting firm dedicated to unlocking human potential. One of his responsibilities includes consulting with executive clients, nationally and globally and assisting them with diversity, education, design, and implementation.
Throughout his 25 plus years at The Kaleidoscope Group, Gary has served a wide variety of clients across several industries. Some of the clients that he recently worked with include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Caterpillar, CNA Insurance, Coca-Cola Bottling, Duracell, Federal Reserve Bank, John G. Shedd Aquarium, Northrop Grumman, Sara Lee, IRI, and The Wildlife Conservation Society.
Gary has extensive experience in real estate, production management, and quality control in organizations that remanufacture and maintain large equipment. He is a lifelong learner with a thorough understanding of the impact of diversity for every stakeholder. He utilizes his fun-loving nature to connect with all audiences.
Before The Kaleidoscope Group, he was independently consulting as an on-site project manager for the remanufacture of thirty-eight diesel-electric locomotives. As a Facility Manager, Gary and his team of new employees created a manufacturing facility that was profitable in its first year of operation. While managing multiple shift production lines, he facilitated diverse employee teams in their continuous quality improvement efforts. Some of the processes resulting from these efforts include a “New Hire Training and Mentoring Program”, multiple component re-engineering and redesign changes, and an in-house production line inventory system.
Gary earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. Outside of The Kaleidoscope Group, he enjoys traveling the world and learning about different cultures.
