Isaias Zamarripa is the Vice President of Diversity Talent Acquisition Strategy and Senior Consultant at The Kaleidoscope Group (KG), a fullservice diversity and inclusion consulting firm dedicated to unlocking the human potential. His responsibilities include business development, training, and talent acquisition strategy.
Throughout his time at KG, Isaias has served a wide variety of clients across a number of industries. Some of the clients that he recently worked with include Milwaukee Theater, Thrivent, and Akamai.
He has over 20 years of experience in leading Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion for Fortune 100 companies. Isaias utilizes his creativity to train employees. He has the ability to connect the dots; not only when he is thinking of how a company can become more equitable but when he is asked to speak about equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Something that motivates him is helping companies create a more inclusive culture that leads to a more diverse pipeline of leadership for the company. Prior to joining KG, Isaias served as the Director of Global Workforce Diversity for Johnson Controls. For over 10 years, he worked at General Mills as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Diversity. In this role, he developed retention programs that significantly reduced the turnover of diverse employees by 50 percent.
Previously, he has been involved with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs where he helped with starting the Houston and the Minneapolis chapters, as one of the founding members. The organization now is called Prospanice and Isaias has been involved all 31 years of its existence. He has also served on the Board of the Chicago Latino Film Festival for 10 years and on the Board of Ordway in Minneapolis for 6 years.
Isaias holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications from Marquette University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Columbia Business School. He currently lives in Minneapolis, MN.
