Today, she is the Founder and CEO of Trimuel Enterprises, LLC., a business-consulting firm that specializes in developing key strategies to help women and diverse talent advance into the careers of their dreams. She also works with organizations and their leaders to expand their cultural competencies to lead all of their talents more inclusively. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate America, Joyce has a proven track record of success in business development, talent management, marketing, operations, human resources, and diversity, equity &; inclusion (DE&I). As a servant leader, Joyce is passionate about curating programs and experiences that will allow her clients to bring their best authentic selves into every setting. She prides herself in her ability to communicate and act with empathy and vulnerability, while also driving positive business outcomes, shareholder value, and increased employee engagement.
Joyce previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at CNA Insurance, where she led a team of over 600 in developing and implementing strategies that drove innovation, efficiencies, and process optimization. She also served as CNA’s first Chief Diversity Officer, spearheading the organization’s enterprise-wide efforts to develop and implement a diverse and inclusive culture both internally and with external agents and broker partners. Earlier in her career, Joyce held the role of Vice President and Branch Manager with Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, becoming the first woman of color in Chubb’s 130-year history to assume a branch manager role. She also held the role of Assistant Vice President and Regional Marketing Manager for the Chubb Washington D.C. region, where she was responsible for managing the marketing and sales curriculum of $425 million portfolios across five states.
