Livia is an Executive Consultant for The Kaleidoscope Group. She is an accomplished strategist and leader adept at building and directing highly motivated, results-oriented teams and creating innovative solutions to solve complex business problems.
She has over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, change management, talent management, inclusion and diversity, learning and leadership development, and business transformation. She has worked with executives and leadership teams across various industries on visioning, organizational design, and achieving targeted business results via high-performing teams.
Livia has had the pleasure of working with Fortune 500 companies on transformation efforts in North America, Europe, and Asia across various industries including retail, financial services, manufacturing, nonprofit, and service sectors. She has worked with organizations such as Ford, Bandag, Allstate, Eastman Chemical, Safeway, Tesco, United Way, and YWCA to develop innovative solutions to their strategic growth challenges.
She has held various roles in industry and management consulting. As the leader of Talent Strategies and Solutions at Eastman, she had global responsibility for inclusion and diversity (I&D), career management, organizational effectiveness, succession management, and leadership development.
She was instrumental in reshaping Eastman’s Training Department into its current Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness function. Before joining Eastman, she spent over 12 years as a management consultant leading global, transformation engagements for Ernst & Young (EY) and Infosys Consulting.
Livia is an excellent coach, public speaker, and master facilitator. She enjoys giving motivational speeches to college students and adult audiences to help them discover their untapped abilities, achieve personal and professional goals, and live life to its fullest potential. As a motivational speaker, she has presented at regional conferences for the National Society of Black Engineers and Chicago Public Schools.
She was inducted into the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers and selected for Leadership Johnson City. She lead the Ernst &; Young Professional Women’s Network and served on the Springboard planning committee for the venture capital forum targeting investing in female-owned businesses.
Livia holds a B.S. degree in mathematics from Jackson State University, an Industrial engineering degree from Mississippi State University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Livia believes in giving back and paying it forward since she has been blessed by so many mentors in her life. She gives her time, talent, and treasure to her local church and other social and civic organizations. She has facilitated strategic planning sessions and served as a leadership coach for the United Way. An avid outdoors type who enjoys walking, hiking, and gardening, Livia also enjoys theatre, traveling, and spending time with her husband Dana, nephew Cory, family, and friends.
