Janet Blum

Janet is a light-medium skinned woman with long, dark hair. She is wearing a dark, v-neck sweater and a short strand of white pearls. She is pictured smiling in front of a blue-grey background.

Janet brings over 30 years of experience to her role as a Consultant with The Kaleidoscope Group.

Janet’s expertise includes executive coaching, DEI coaching and consulting, leadership development, team development, training, and conflict resolution. She focuses on helping individuals and teams reach their business objectives by assisting them in identifying goals, recognizing and addressing strengths and opportunities, and developing clear processes and strong relationships.

Janet has extensive multi-industry knowledge, having worked with organizations in financial services, education, arts and entertainment, non-profit, consumer goods and manufacturing.

Janet received an MBA and an MA from The University of Chicago simultaneously. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in social psychology from the University of Michigan.

When not working, Janet enjoys walking, writing, and spending time with her husband and three young adult children who fill her with tremendous pride. She is a constant ‘observer’ of the world and recognizes that each of us may have a different lens that we look through, but hopefully, we can appreciate what each of us sees through our own lens.

Through our work I am able to see and help people grow. Individuals can understand themselves in the world around them in a different way – one that focuses on supporting and helping the development of the self and others. It’s exciting to have a positive impact from a diversity, equity, and inclusion space!
