Jeffery B. Strader is the Director of LGBTQ+ Practice & Internships and Sr. Consultant for The Kaleidoscope Group, a full-service Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consulting firm dedicated to unlocking human potential. He is responsible for overseeing the relationship between clients and the firm. Jeffery is also a part of the Subject Matter Expert group, providing dedicated and focused delivery support.

He is also the Internship Program Manager where he assists in hiring, training, and supporting the rest of the organization regarding the values and objectives of the Internship Program. Jeffery partners with every Business Unit Leader to fulfill talent needs for The Kaleidoscope Group, augment the firm’s talent capabilities, along with helping the firm be more productive; creating a pipeline of the new and best talent of all backgrounds.

Throughout his time at KG, he has served a wide variety of clients across a number of industries. Some clients that he worked with recently include the American Dental Association, Chicago Community Trust, the Environmental Defense Fund, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Joliet Junior College, Madison Square Garden, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Nike, Perspecta, Triton College, and Ulta Beauty.

Jeffery has experience in fast-paced environments such as Outpatient Mental Health and Event Planning for Fortune 500 companies. Describing himself as a fast learner, he is committed to understanding the wants and needs of whomever he works with, whether it is children, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and consulting for national and global clients. He is most proud of being able to take a unique or even compromised situation and make it into a learning experience for the greater benefit. He believes that everyone is stronger together and that we are all united in our uniqueness.

Prior to working at The Kaleidoscope Group, he was a Wedding Coordinator. Jeffery was responsible for working with couples to plan all aspects of their wedding day including assistance with photography and videography services, scheduling all portrait sessions, organizing the wedding plan, and executing the detailed timeline of events. He’s also worked in retail as a Sales Associate at a high-end establishment where he gained expertise in the Salesforce CRM program. He also showcased expertise in product knowledge along with earning the Top Regional Sales in the Midwest. He was also a Project Executive, where he planned meetings and events across various industries.

Jeffery takes interest in human rights and Social Work while advocating for the LGBTQ+ Community. For him, this means advocating for the celebration of self-expression while honoring individuality. As an activist, he partners with LGBTQ+ businesses and organizations in both personal and professional aspects. He also attends local and national LGBTQ+-related conferences representing The Kaleidoscope Group.

He has an educational background in Social Work with a Bachelor’s degree from Lindenwood University and a Master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. Jeffery gains motivation from collective efforts of contributing positivity and creating unified communities. He strives for perfection but sees potential in every outcome.
